In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Somers Spartans.
The Blue Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Huskies come into the Shoreline battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Morgan nudged Westbrook (Westbrook, CT), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against East Granby (East Granby, CT). The Crusaders come into the Central Connecticut - North battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, East Granby nudged Rockville (Vernon, CT), 1-0, in a league battle.
