Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), 9-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the Chaminade-Julienne Eagles (Dayton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 12. Greenon will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Waynesville (Waynesville, OH).
The Braves now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Union for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 12.
