In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lake Gibson Braves (Lakeland, FL) volleyball squad were winner over the host East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Braves battle the Sunlake Seahawks (Land O' Lakes, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 10. Lake Gibson will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Seahawks go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL).

With the loss, East Lake moves to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles host Osceola (Seminole, FL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 15. The Warriors go into the contest with a record of 2-2. Osceola won 2-0 in their recent league contest against Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL)
