The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) and the visiting Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), saw St. Charles North's volleyball squad nip Joliet West by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, St. Charles North upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The North Stars travel to Cary-Grove (Cary, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 5. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Tigers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Jones for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. Joliet West will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Northside (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
