The Rancho Cucamonga Cougars held off the host Yucaipa Thunderbirds volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Etiwanda for a test on Monday, September 12. Rancho Cucamonga will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Norco (Norco, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
The Thunderbirds (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA). The Wildcats enter the test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Redlands East Valley held off Notre Dame (Riverside, CA), 1-0, in a non-league test.
