Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers confront the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) in a Western Big 6 challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Alleman will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Golden Warriors enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Kewanee (Kewanee, IL).

The Dukes & Duchesses now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oregon for a Big Northern challenge on Wednesday, September 14.
