The New Covenant Christian Flames soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Antietam Mountaineers to 0 in the Flames non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Flames face the Dayspring Christian Academy Warrior (Mountville, PA) in a Commonwealth Christian contest, on Tuesday, September 13. New Covenant Christian will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Warrior enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 7-2 league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Harrisburg, PA).
The Mountaineers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schuylkill Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, September 12. Antietam will face a Panthers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Brandywine Heights Area (Topton, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
