In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Belvidere Bucs soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Richmond-Burton Rockets.
The Bucs (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The E-Rabs come into the Northern Illinois NIC-10 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Rockford East nudged Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Rockets (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets come into the Kishwaukee River battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Harvard nudged Hononegah (Rockton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
