The crowd at Saturday's league test between the Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) and the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), saw Penn-Trafford's soccer squad triumph over Hempfield Area by a count of 11-1.

The Warriors now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Plum for a WPIAL AAA 4 test on Thursday, September 15. Penn-Trafford will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Hempfield Area drops to 0-5 on the season. The Spartans host Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA) to meet the Knights in a WPIAL AAAA 4 test on Monday, September 12. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-4. Norwin lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Peters Township (McMurray, PA)
