In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Sterling Golden Warriors soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Kewanee Boilermakers.

The Golden Warriors (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Alleman (Rock Island, IL). The Pioneers go into the Western Big 6 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Alleman nipped Dixon (Dixon, IL), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
