The Hornets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schuyler County for a Class 1 District 10 challenge on Monday, September 12.

With the loss, Madison falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Glasgow (Glasgow, MO) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 13. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
