The La Junta Tigers softball team (La Junta, CO), was routed 5-1 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO)

Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak bout, on Monday, September 12. Palmer Ridge will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 18-7 league win over Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO).

The Tigers now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Florence for a 3A Tri Peaks bout on Tuesday, September 13. La Junta will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Platte Valley (Kersey, CO). The Huskies record now stands at 3-10.
