The Alcoa Tornadoes topped the host Cumberland County Jets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes now have a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webb for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Alcoa will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 9-7.
The Jets (1-6) will now prepare for their test against South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Cherokees enter the non-league test with a 0-14 record. In their last test, South-Doyle was knocked off by Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN), 2-0, in a non-league test.
