In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Mary Star of the Sea Stars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Arroyo Valley Hawks.
The Stars (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA). The Pacers come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Pomona Catholic lost by Downey (Downey, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hawks encounter the Notre Dame Titans (Riverside, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 14. Arroyo Valley will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 0-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Rim of the World (Lake Arrowhead, CA).
