Illinois High School Volleyball - Bloomington can't hold off Teutopolis

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Teutopolis Wooden Shoes volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Bloomington Purple Raiders.
The Wooden Shoes (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Flaming Hearts come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Effingham was edged by Fairfield (Fairfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Purple Raiders clash with the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 10. Bloomington will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Hornets come into the battle with a 3-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Castle (Newburgh, IN).
