The Canyon Cowboys volleyball team (Canyon Country, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA)

The Stars (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Arroyo Valley (San Bernardino, CA). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Arroyo Valley was dropped by Maranatha (Pasadena, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys meet the Northview Vikings (Covina, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Canyon will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Jordan (Long Beach, CA).
