Kentucky High School Volleyball - Cooper over Southwestern

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) and the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), saw Cooper's volleyball squad beat Southwestern by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Cooper upgrades its record to 12-2 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Adair County (Columbia, KY) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Adair County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Marion County (Lebanon, KY)

The Warriors now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. Southwestern will play a Flyers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 8-5.
