The Nevada Union Miners topped the host Del Campo Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Miners now have a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponderosa for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Nevada Union will confront a Bruins team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-1.
The Cougars (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Cordova gained a win over Florin (Sacramento, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
