The Deuel Cardinals topped the host Waverly/South Shore Coyotes volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redfield for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Deuel will confront a Pheasants team coming off a 3-1 league win over Sisseton (Sisseton, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 4-1.
The Coyotes (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Hitchcock-Tulare was knocked off by Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
