The Marissa/Coulterville Meteors volleyball team (Marissa, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Flora Wolves (Flora, IL)

The Wolves (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Clay (Louisville, IL). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, North Clay nipped Neoga (Neoga, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Coming up next, the Meteors play the Carlyle Indians (Carlyle, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 10. Marissa/Coulterville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Wesclin (Trenton, IL).
