North Carolina High School Volleyball - Marvin Ridge tips Foard

September 10, 2022: Waxhaw, NC 28173

The Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) volleyball nudged the visiting Foard Tigers (Newton, NC), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Marvin Ridge upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a Southern Carolina 4A outing on Tuesday, September 13. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Cuthbertson won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Butler (Matthews, NC)

The Tigers now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Iredell for a Western Foothills 3A outing on Monday, September 12. Foard will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 12-0.
