The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) and the visiting West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL), saw Helena's volleyball squad beat West Point by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Helena upgrades its record to 7-9 on the year. The Huskies travel to Hartselle (Hartselle, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Hartselle lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Sparkman (Harvest, AL)

The Warriors now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. West Point will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Lawrence (Trinity, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-9.
