The Montgomery Catholic Knights topped the host Homewood Patriots volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vestavia Hills for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Montgomery Catholic will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Helena (Helena, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 15-5.
The Patriots (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Spartans enter the 6A Area 9 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Mountain Brook gained a win over Pell City (Pell City, AL), 3-0, in a league test.
