North Carolina High School Volleyball - Watauga over Hough

September 10, 2022: Cornelius, NC 28031

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Pioneers battle the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A contest, on Wednesday, September 14. Watauga will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record.

With the loss, Hough moves to 9-2 on the year. The Huskies host Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Mavericks in a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, September 13. The Mavericks go into the contest with a record of 6-3. Mallard Creek lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)
