Nevada High School Volleyball - Lowry over Hug

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Buckaroos battle the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 16. Lowry will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV).

With the loss, Hug drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Hawks host Lassen (Susanville, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 13. The Grizzlies come into the contest with a record of 13-6. Lassen lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA)
