The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA) and the host Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA), saw Jordan's volleyball squad beat Segerstrom by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Jordan upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to Paramount (Paramount, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

The Jaguars now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ocean View for a Golden West bout on Tuesday, September 13. Segerstrom will play a Seahawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA). The Seahawks record now stands at 5-7.
