The Westbrook Blue Blazes held off the visiting Lake Region Lakers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's league test.

The Blue Blazes now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Yarmouth Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, September 15. Westbrook will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Sumner (East Sullivan, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.

The Lakers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Cony (Augusta, ME). The Rams enter the Class B test with a 1-2 record.
