The Normal West Wildcats held off the visiting Limestone Rockets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Fallon for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Normal West will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-2.
The Rockets (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Washington (Washington, IL). The Panthers enter the Mid-Illini test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Washington was nudged by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
