The Lodi Flames (Lodi, CA) volleyball nudged the visiting Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Lodi upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Flames host Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA) to face the Hawks in a non-league outing on Monday, September 12. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 7-2. Liberty Ranch won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Lincoln (Stockton, CA)
The Hillmen now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rocklin for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 13. Placer will face a Thunder squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 11-2.
