The Midway Panthers volleyball team (Waco, TX), went down 3-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX)

The Panthers (24-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 19-9 record. In their last challenge, Beckville defeated White Oak (White Oak, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Midway will attempt to move on its 24-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Lampasas (Lampasas, TX).
