In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Patoka Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors.
The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Clay (Louisville, IL). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, North Clay nudged Neoga (Neoga, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Meteors clash with the Flora Wolves (Flora, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 10. Marissa/Coulterville will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL).
