North Carolina High School Volleyball - McMichael over Musselman

September 10, 2022: Mayodan, NC 27027

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) and the visiting Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV), saw McMichael's volleyball squad beat Musselman by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, McMichael upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Phoenix travel to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 14-0. Reagan won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Station Camp (Gallatin, TN)

The Applemen now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a Eastern Panhandle bout on Tuesday, September 13. Musselman will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Millbrook (Winchester, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
