The Mineral Point Pointers volleyball team (Mineral Point, WI), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI)

The Glarner Knights (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Belleville (Belleville, WI). The Wildcats enter the Capitol - South challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Belleville was nudged by Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pointers meet the Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Mineral Point will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record.
