The Mt. Morris Panthers volleyball team (Mt. Morris, MI), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI)

The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Black Hawks come into the Oakland - Red challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Bloomfield Hills nudged Riverview (Riverview, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI) in a Mid-Michigan Athletic challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Mt. Morris will attempt to move on its 26-7 season record.
