The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC) and the host Providence HomeSchool Panthers (Columbia, SC), saw North Central's volleyball squad nip Providence HomeSchool by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, North Central upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Knights host Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC) to play the Volunteers in a AA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Volunteers enter the test with a record of 2-4. Andrew Jackson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Clover (Clover, SC)

The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Ben Lippen held off Hammond (Columbia, SC), 3-0, in a league test.
