The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Northview Vikings (Covina, CA) and the host St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), saw Northview's volleyball squad beat St. Paul by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Northview upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA) to play the Panthers in a Valle Vista bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Diamond Ranch lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Glendora (Glendora, CA)

The Swordsmen now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Amat for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 14. St. Paul will play a Lancers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 10-7.
