The Pierce City Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frontenac for a non-league game on Saturday, September 10. Pierce City will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Independence (Independence, KS). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.
