New Mexico High School Volleyball - Sandia tips St. Pius X

Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Matadors clash with the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 13. Sandia will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Demons come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM).

With the loss, St. Pius X drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Sartans travel to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 13. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 4-3. Hope Christian lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM)
