Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Westridge Tigers (Pasadena, CA), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Wilson Wildcats (Hacienda Heights, CA) in a Hacienda match, on Monday, September 12. Walnut will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record.

With the loss, Westridge drops to 6-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Providence (Burbank, CA) to battle the Pioneers in a Prep match on Tuesday, September 13. The Pioneers come into the match with a record of 12-8. Providence lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA)
