The Beaufort Eagles volleyball team (Beaufort, SC), went down 2-0 in Sunday's non-league challenge with the visiting Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC)

The Bruins (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC). The Diamond Hornets come into the AAA Region 5 challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Lower Richland went down by Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Beaufort will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Iron Horses come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cross Episcopal (Bluffton, SC).
