California High School Flag Football - Don Lugo over Covina

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Don Lugo Conquistadores (Chino, CA) and the host Covina Colts (Covina, CA), witnessed Don Lugo's flag football squad knock off Covina by a tally of 28-20.

The Conquistadores (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Upland (Upland, CA). The Highlanders/Scots enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Upland gained a win over Panorama (Panorama City, CA), 20-7, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Colts battle the Rowland Raiders (Rowland Heights, CA) in a contest, on Monday, September 16. Covina will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 40-6 non-league loss to Fullerton (Fullerton, CA).
