Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL), 45-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Helena improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Huskies host Prattville (Prattville, AL) to play the Lions in a battle on Tuesday, October 8. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 5-1.

The Spartans now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Homewood for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 10. Mountain Brook will play a Patriots team coming off a 44-6 non-league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
