Minutes in when a handball awarded Greenwich a penalty kick. The kick would richochet off the post and into play before the follow up would go over the goal. A few minutes later Greenwich would get another great opportunity when Eliza McQueen would cross the ball and connect with Julia Sgambelluri, but the shot would go just wide. Zero-zero at the half. The second half would be more evenly played with Greenwich getting some good attacks, but F-F’s defense would turn them all away and counter attack. Finally with 14 minutes remaining, Morgan Foster would be taken down just outside the box, setting up a direct kick from 20 yards out.
