In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Moses Lake Mavericks soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Othello Huskies.
The Mavericks (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA). The Grizzlies enter the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Sunnyside was edged by Prosser (Prosser, WA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Huskies confront the Quincy Jackrabbits (Quincy, WA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 14. Othello will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Jackrabbits enter the outing with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Brewster (Brewster, WA).
