The Pocatello Thunder soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Sugar-Salem Diggers to 2 in the Thunder non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Thunder now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Century for a 5A South East Idaho bout on Thursday, September 12. Pocatello will play a Diamondbacks squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Thunder Ridge (Idaho Falls, ID). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Sugar-Salem moves to 5-1 on the year. The Diggers host Kimberly (Kimberly, ID) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Kimberly lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Sun Valley Community (Sun Valley, ID)
