With the triumph, Cape Henlopen advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Dover (Dover, DE) to clash with the Senators in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Senators come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Indians now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delmar for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Indian River will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
