In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Glenwood Springs Demons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Aspen Skiers.

The Demons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Roaring Fork was tipped by Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Skiers meet the Grand Valley Cardinals (Parachute, CO) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Aspen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Gunnison (Gunnison, CO).
