In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Valley Christian Trojans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Northwest Christian Crusaders.

The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Monument Valley was nudged by Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Northwest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Minotaur come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ).
