In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 win over the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers.
The Tornadoes (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Manual (Peoria, IL). The Rams enter the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Manual was overwhelmed by Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL), 9-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Argenta-Oreana Bombers (Argenta, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 12. Mt. Pulaski will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bombers enter the outing with a 0-4 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to St. Teresa (Decatur, IL).
