In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Madison Highland Prep Heat soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets.
The Heat (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against St. Augustine Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, St. Augustine Catholic was edged by Benson (Benson, AZ), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Show Low Cougars (Show Low, AZ) in a 2A - East outing, on Monday, September 16. Blue Ridge will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 6-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Payson (Payson, AZ).
